We know that life can bring times of difficulties, we want to be here to help you during those times.
If you need spiritual help we offer Christian counseling at Calvary Chapel. Simply fill out our contact form to submit your request for help and someone will contact you soon or you can also call the church at 575-388-1031, email Pastor Joseph or email the church office.
We also offer various ministries for help with more specific needs:
The Prayer Chain (Read More) ~Miracles by request
You can email your prayer requests, call 575-388-1031, or drop them in one of the wooden Agape Boxes at the back of the sanctuary. If you would like to help us pray, join us every Saturday Morning at 9AM for intercessory prayer or to be added to the email prayer chain email the Webmaster
The Service Ministry
Hearts, hands and feet reaching out to The Body of Christ and His Community. If you need a periodic hand coping with your everyday needs (meals, rides, yard work, home repairs or more) please contact Robin Eng at the Service Ministy and they will set something up or point you in the right direction.
Bold men for Christ. The Bold Men of Calvary Chapel include all the ministries of our church that use, reach and disciple men. Our mission is to make Bold disciples for Jesus Christ, connecting men with men, and with our Father, leaving no man behind.

Youth and Children’s Ministry (Read More)
We have a High School Youth Group which meets every Thursday Night from 6:30-8:00 PM and Sunday Mornings from 10:30-12:00 AM. On Sunday Mornings, we also have a Sunday School and a Nursery for toddlers.

Greeters and ushers are the “first contact” with the congregation for many people who visit on Sunday morning. The number one question visitors want answered is: “Is this a friendly congregation?” They start forming their answer based in large part on how welcoming and helpful these official representatives of the church are. Nursing Home Ministry
We visit our local nursing homes on a weekly basis. Please contact Pastor Joseph at if you would like to join us.
Singles Ministry

Prayer After Service Ministry
Prayer is available after each of our services (or any other time you may need it). If you need prayer or would like to help pray for or counsel individuals in need of prayer, please contact Pastor Joe.
Refreshment Ministry
If you are interested in helping with refreshments after Sunday Worship, please contact Abe Villarreal with the Helps Ministry.
Events Coordinator
These people are in charge of all non-church related activities that happen at Calvary Chapel (weddings, parties, etc). Please contact Julie and Kurt Simmons with the Events Ministry for more info or to arrange an event at the church.
Website Ministry
We are always looking for good articles and help on the website. If you feel that you can contribute, please contact Randy Salars with the Website Ministry.
Genesis 9:2-3 Hunting and Fishing Club
This club is specifically designed for our youth 18 years of age and under. We hold periodic hunting and fishing trips for our kids and teach them good sportsmanship, firearm safety, 2nd amendment rights, Biblical stewardship and valuable skills.
Anyone who wants to lend a hand or participate in one of our trips is more than welcome, even if they don’t have kids of their own. Please contact Rusty Lewis with the Genesis 9:23 Club for more information.
New Believers Ministry
For those who have recently accepted Christ and would like to grow in their walks with Christ or are just looking into the claims of Christianity and want to learn more, we hold a periodic New Believers / Seekers class which normally ends in a public Baptism.

Video Ministry
All of our Sunday Bible Studies are taped and can be seen on the local Silver City TV Stations, CATS. Please contact ? with the Video Ministry for more information (On temporary hold)
Kairos Prison Ministry (Read More)
A ministry addressing the spiritual needs of incarcerated men, women and children, their families and to those who work in the prison environment.
We hold a large outreach every Spring and Fall at the Las Cruces Correctional Facility. Please contact our local representative, Bob Phipps at 388-5171 for more info

Operation Christmas Child (Read More)
Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children around the world through gift-filled shoeboxes and the Good News of God’s love. This program of Samaritan’s Purse provides an opportunity for people of all ages to be involved in a simple, hands-on missions project while focusing on the true meaning of Christmas—Jesus Christ, God’s greatest gift. Along with shoebox gifts, millions of children are given Gospel booklets in their own language.
